Basso Brooke S/S 2009
The label is founded by the English Christopher Brooke and Bruno Basso, a Brasilian Graphic Designer, who compose in a creative and intercultural symbiosis sensational fashion. Their creation is often dominated by amorphous shapes, which are accentuated by the use of outlandish prints, draperies and colours. Numerous prices and cooperations e.g. Swarovski demonstrate their success. Furthermore they set already a monument in fashion history, because the Metropolitan Museum of New York contained the finale outfits of Autumn/Winter 2005 for their permanent costume collection.
