Dutch native Iris van Herpen creates fashion that couldn’t be more innovative. Designed with exceptional patience and intuition, her creations sometimes impart a sense of the eccentric-dramatic, while at other times radiating futuristic elegance. The 28-year-old uses unique materials such as polyamide powder, metal silk, and smoked leather. The result: creations that transcend the world of fashion, instead serving as an avant-garde work of art.
