The talented young Indian designer Aneeth Arora has been amazing audiences with her label péro, which in Marwari, her hometown of Rajasthan’s local language, means “to wear.” After graduating from the National Institute of Design and the National Institute of Fashion Technology, the young Indian began to create unique pieces from organic cotton and raw silk. Aneeth Arora has been inspired by the style of the region and the Indian culture – creating casual clothing for cosmopolites.
Kallol Datta has been called the “face of new Indian fashion.” No wonder, considering he’s been enthralling the fashion world with designs from avant-garde to grunge since his graduation from the famous Central Saint Martins College. This eccentric and talented young designer established his own label, Kallol Datta 1955, in 2007. An ode to his mother, who was born in 1955, his fashion stands out with multiethnic designs, bold prints, and vibrant colors.
