Steven Tai S/S 2013
The Canadian up-and-coming designer Steven Tai was discovered in Hyères, more precisely at the “Festival International de Mode et de Photographie“. Here he presented his vision of self-confident fashion which would never bow to mainstream in its clumsy way that the designer tenderly calls “awkward”. After winning the Chloé award and supported by German ELLE and Mercedes-Benz, Tai is showing his collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Spring/Summer 2013 for the first time. The young designer is inspired by the profane aspects of urban life.
